New Cabinets

When we first started house-hunting about 4 years ago (before we were even married), the goal was to buy a fix-'er-up-er, remodel, and then sell it for a profit - God willing, of course. So, we've completely redone the kitchen and moved it to a new location in the house. Most of the work is done; our latest project was putting in new cabinets, so I'm posting pictures of the process below.

First, we unpacked the boxes.

Then we started on the wall above the refrig.

And moved our way along the wall, ended with a great pantry.
We also have a peninsula with the sink, dishwasher, and cabinets that open from either side of the peninsula, but we don't have any really good pictures of that yet. It's wonderful to have cabinets!!!

  1. It looks great! But I don't see any place for our special tea couch! It is in your plans, right?:-) I see Rachel still refuses to have her face in a picture:-)

  2. Greetings and God BLESS you two! This is Bonita from Orlando. Remember me? I wanted to tell you that we live not too far from Wycliffe. I recently went to their Last Languages convention. It was so awesome. We have supported Wycliffe for YEARS, even before they moved their headquarters to the Lake Nona area. It is absolutely beautiful there. They have the BEST cafeteria :o) Wayne has volunteered to do some plumbing jobs, Joel, Nathan their cousin Jonathan and I have also volunteered to help in the past when they were planting the irrigation and grass around the travel RV campground. There are wonderful people involved there. Many attend our church (Calvary Chapel of Orlando).

We have even hosted missionaries who were on furlough and passing through the central Florida area. AWESOME!!! When you come through Orlando, please, be sure to contact us! I will be praying for you both!

    Love you!
